Temperance Liquor & Temperance Traders was established in 1999 by Rick & Peggy Anderson. The property sits in Schroeder, Minnesota; the gateway to Cook County, on the edge of Temperance State Park along the shores of Lake Superior. 
 
In the spring of 2020 Patrick & Christina Reeves purchased the wonderful & unique property and have brought a new vision and energy to Schroeder.  The property is now  home to the Temperance Traders Marketplace which includes Temperance Liquor, a Garden Center, a Campstore, a Hardware Store and a Thrift Store.  There are also four residential cabins and a satellite base for Superior Properties North Shore which specializes in caretaking and construction for local properties in the West End of Cook County.  More services and products are always being added to keep this Marketplace vibrant and relevant to the needs of the residents, property owners and tourists.
